Ride Free on April 19th for Earth Day

 

Double your climate impact by leaving your car behind as you participate in Neighborhood Clean Up!

 

In Celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day, and in partnership with Santa Clarita Neighborhood Clean Up, Santa Clarita Transit is offering unlimited FREE local transit rides ALL DAY on April 19th for those who register and volunteer for Neighborhood Clean Up.

 

See below for how to participate and redeem your free all-day transit pass:

 

Sign up to participate in Neighborhood Clean Up:

1. Sign up for Neighborhood Clean Up at Santa Clarita Volunteers here.
2. A confirmation and your free transit passcode will be emailed to you in the days leading up to the event.

 

Download and Create a Token Transit App account:

1. Download the Token Transit App on the Apple or Android app stores.
2. Sign up for a Token Transit account by entering your phone number.

 

Redeem Your Free Passcode:

1. Click this link to redeem your code: https://tokentransit.com/santaclaritatransit/earthday
2. Enter your email address and the free pass code in the available fields. An email from Token Transit with subject line “Redeem Your Transit Pass for Santa Clarita Transit” will be sent to the email address entered.
3. Using your phone, open the email and click the REDEEM NOW button.
4. Select the Token Transit icon to download the pass into the Token Transit app.
5. The Token Transit app will open and present the “Redeem” button. Tap this button.
6. The pass is now available in your Stored Passes section of the app!

 

To Activate and Use Your Pass:

1. Wait until April 19th to activate your pass.
2. Open the Token Transit app and on the My Passes screen, select the Earth Day pass under Stored Passes.
3. Show your phone screen to the transit driver when boarding.
