LIGHT UP MAIN STREET
ENHANCED TRANSIT SERVICE AND DETOUR INFORMATION
The City of Santa Clarita is excited to welcome the community to Light Up Main Street in Old Town Newhall on Saturday, November 15, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. This Santa Clarita tradition will feature the highly anticipated Tree Lighting Ceremony along with several other holiday festivities.
Santa Clarita Transit is offering enhanced transit service, getting you closer to the event than ever before. Accommodating the street closures for the event, several transit services including Local Routes 4, 5, 6, and 14, Go! Santa Clarita, and a new shuttle service from the Our Lady of Perpetual Health will all drop off and pick up along Walnut and Lyons, just steps away from the tree lightning. Route 12 will operate normally with several stops to the event including Railroad and 13th and Railroad and Market. See below for the transportation map.
Please note, due to the road closures, the Route detours for 4, 5, 6, and 14 will start at 6am on Saturday, November 15th.

All routes will run during their normal weekend operating times, with the final trips leaving the Newhall area between 6:45pm and 8:30pm, depending on the Route. There are several tools to help you plan your trip:
