Transit On Demand is now Santa Clarita Connect!
Three services, now all in one convenient app!
Starting October 1, 2025, Go! Santa Clarita, Dial-a-Ride (DAR), and Access Services trips can all be booked within the new Santa Clarita Connect app! – One app for all Santa Clarita Transit demand-response services. Building off the success of our July 1st launch of the Transit On Demand app, which saw Go! Santa Clarita moved to our new turbo-charged app, we are excited to announce two additional services are being added!
To mark this exciting evolution, we have re-named Transit On Demand to Santa Clarita Connect!
By combining all three services in this one turbo-charged app, we will be able to leverage the app’s full capabilities and further enhance optimization for faster pickups, shorter waits, and increased ride availability. Available in the Apple and Android App stores.

How to Get Rolling
For old or returning Santa Clarita Go! users who did not already download the Transit On Demand app:
- Remove the old TripShot app if you still have it on your phone. The TripShot app was the original home for Go! Santa Clarita trip booking and was sunset on July 1, 2025.
- Download the new Santa Clarita Connect app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Create your rider profile in minutes.
- Choose your trip type. General Public, in addition to seeing Go! Santa Clarita trip offerings, will now also have the option for booking a DAR trip after 6pm.

- Book and Board. Track your vehicle in real time.
For Santa Clarita Go! users who have already installed and used the Transit On Demand App:
- Update your Transit On Demand app by searching for “Santa Clarita Connect” in the app store. Some users may find their app has automatically updated. There is no need to create a new profile or make any other changes.
- Choose your trip type. General Public, in addition to seeing Go! Santa Clarita trip offerings, will now also have the option for booking a DAR trip after 6pm.

- Book and Board just like before.
For eligible DAR and Access Services users who have already registered with Santa Clarita Transit in the past:
Note: Eligible DAR and Access Services riders who have used these services with Santa Clarita in the past will have their records and profiles automatically transferred to the new app.
- Download the new Santa Clarita Connect app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Choose which service you want to use within the app. All three services, Go! Santa Clarita, DAR, and Access Services will be available for eligible riders who have registered with Santa Clarita Transit in the past.

For NEW eligible DAR and Access Services users who have NOT already registered with Santa Clarita Transit in the past:
- Call Santa Clarita Transit at (661) 294-9327 to register for access to DAR and Access services.
- Download the new Santa Clarita Connect app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Choose which service you want to use within the app. All three services (Go! Santa Clarita, DAR, and Access Services) will be available for eligible riders.
- Book and Board. Track your vehicle in real time.
Helpful Tips:

- Once booked, real-time tracking of your vehicle becomes available when:
- Your ride is the next pickup in the queue, and
- Your ride’s estimated time of arrival is in the next ten minutes.

- Payments:
- To pay for a ride, you can select your method of payment during the trip booking phase, and it will be collected at the time of your boarding.
- The available payment options include cash, a physical TAP Card, the TAP Card mobile App, or Token Transit. There is a $.025 cent discount for Go! trips when using any payment method other than cash.
- Please note: The payment method must be selected for each individual booking. Setting a default payment method is not currently available.
- Deleting and Reactivating Your Account:
- If you delete your account, you will need to call us at (661) 294-1BUS (1287) to have your account reactivated.
