Summer is fast approaching, and we’re getting ready for another season of Beach Bus fun, but we need your help to decide where we should go!
Since 2023, the Beach Bus has taken our community to Ventura Harbor. Before that, for many years, we headed to Santa Monica. This year, we’re thinking about mixing things up, and your input will help shape the plan.

Service Dates
The Beach Bus will run every Saturday and Sunday from May 23, 2026, to September 6, 2026.
Pick Up/Drop Off Locations and Bus Schedule
Community members can travel from the canyons to the sea and back again from these locations across the City. Riders will return to the same location where they were dropped off. Note, buses only stop at the key locations listed below:
Departure Locations and Schedule:
- Via Princessa Metrolink Station
- Depart at 8:22 am
- Arrive at the beach – 10:00 am
- Depart from the beach – 4:30 pm
- Return at 5:53 pm.
- McBean Regional Transit Center
- Depart at 8:40 am
- Arrive at the beach – 10:00am
- Depart from the beach – 4:30 pm
- Return at 5:35 pm.
- Beach Pickup Location TBD
- Arrives – 10:00 a.m.
- Departs – 4:30 p.m.
Ways To Pay
Summer Beach Bus fares are $3.50 each way for children and adults, and $1.75 each way for Senior Citizens and persons with disabilities.
