The City of Santa Clarita’s Beach Bus Service Returns to Ventura Harbor!
From the canyons to the coast, Santa Clarita Transit’s Beach Bus makes it easy to enjoy Ventura Harbor all summer long. Whether you’re planning a relaxing day by the water, exploring the harbor, or grabbing fresh seafood with friends and family, the Beach Bus offers a simple and affordable way to get there.
Service Dates
The Beach Bus will run every Saturday and Sunday from May 23, 2026, through September 6, 2026.
Pick Up/Drop Off Locations and Bus Schedule
Community members can travel from the canyons to the sea and back again from these locations across the City. Riders will return to the same location where they were dropped off. Note, buses only stop at the key locations listed below:
Departure Locations and Schedule:
- Via Princessa Metrolink Station
- Depart at 8:22 a.m.
- Arrive at the beach – 10:00 a.m.
- Depart from the beach – 4:30 p.m.
- Return at 5:53 p.m.
- McBean Regional Transit Center
- Depart at 8:40 a.m.
- Arrive at the beach – 10:00 a.m.
- Depart from the beach – 4:30 p.m.
- Return at 5:35 p.m.
- Beach Pick Up Location TBD
- Arrives – 10:00 a.m.
- Departs – 4:30 p.m.
Ways To Pay
Summer Beach Bus fares are $3.50 each way for children and adults, and $1.75 each way for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
