The City of Santa Clarita is excited to share its Golden Ticket Giveaway for up to a year of free transit rides! The randomly selected winner will receive a $365 TAP Card, valued at up to 365 free local trips on the Santa Clarita Transit system!

 

To enter the raffle, please visit the Santa Clarita Information Booth at Light Up Main Street on November 16, 2024, or at the Holiday Light Tour at the McBean Regional Transit Center (24375 Valencia Blvd) on any night from December 12th to December 14th, from 6pm to 9pm. Up to 500 raffle tickets will be available each of the 3 nights of the Holiday Light Tour. Once all raffle tickets have been claimed no further entries will be accepted. The winner will be drawn at random at 8:30pm on December 15th and will be notified via phone or email that was written on the winning raffle ticket.

Golden Ticket Giveaway Terms & Conditions

  • For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “The Promoter” refers to City of Santa Clarita Transit whose Instagram handle is @CityofSantaClarita and Twitter Handle is @SCTBus. The “Prize” refers to one (1) TAP Card loaded with $365.00 in stored value.
  • A $365.00 stored-value TAP Card is valued at up to 365 trips on the Santa Clarita Transit system at the current Santa Clarita TAP Card reduced rate of $1.00 per trip. A $365 TAP Card can produce 1 year of free transit rides when used once a day on a Santa Clarita Transit local trip. The TAP Card awarded is a standard-issue TAP Card and can be used multiple times per day on any service that accepts TAP Cards. Using the TAP Card on transit service that costs more than $1.00 per trip, or on transit service outside of the Santa Clarita Transit system will result in fewer than 365 trips.
  • By entering the raffle, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entries must be received by 8:30pm on December 15, 2024. One (1) winner will be selected at random by The Promoter on December 15th and the winner will be notified on or after this date by the phone or email address provided in the winner’s entry ticket.​
  • No purchase is necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to enter the raffle.
  • Entrants must be over 18 years old on the date of their entry into the raffle.
  • Instagram, Twitter or Facebook are not in any way affiliated or involved in the competition.
  • Only one (1) entry to the raffle per eligible person will be accepted. Up to five hundred (500) raffle tickets will be available each night of the Holiday Light Tour event, held December 13 – 15, 2024. Once all 500 allotted raffle tickets for an individual date have been claimed, no further entries on that date will be accepted.
  • Each entrant shall enter the raffle by collecting one (1) raffle ticket from the City of Santa Clarita info booth at either Light Up Main Street on November 16, 2024, or during the Holiday Light Tour held from December 13 – 15, 2024.
  • The Prize will be awarded to a randomly selected winner by pulling a raffle ticket at random from a container housing all entries. The Promoter will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled.
  • The Promoter will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter’s liability under or in connection with the raffle or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize in question.
  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the raffle or any Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
  • Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
  • The name, email address and phone number of the winner must be provided on the entered raffle ticket to The Promoter and will be shared to enable fulfilment of the Prize.​
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
  • The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • The winner’s name may be posted on the social media profiles of The Promotor after the winner has been selected.

 

 

¡La ciudad de Santa Clarita se complace en compartir su sorteo de boletos dorados para viajes gratuitos en transporte público durante un año! El ganador seleccionado al azar recibirá una tarjeta TAP de $365, con un valor de hasta 365 viajes locales gratuitos en el sistema de transporte público de Santa Clarita.

 

Para participar en el sorteo, visite el puesto de información de Santa Clarita en Light Up Main Street el 16 de noviembre de 2024 o en el Holiday Light Tour en el McBean Regional Transit Center (24375 Valencia Blvd) cualquier noche del 13 al 15 de diciembre, de 6:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m.   • A los efectos de estos Términos y Condiciones, “El Promotor” se refiere a City of Santa Clarita Transit, cuyo nombre de usuario en Instagram es @CityofSantaClarita y su nombre de usuario en Twitter es @SCTBus. El “Premio” se refiere a una (1) Tarjeta TAP cargada con $365.00 en valor almacenado.
  • Una tarjeta TAP con valor almacenado de $365.00 tiene un valor de hasta 365 viajes en el sistema de tránsito de Santa Clarita a la tarifa reducida actual de la tarjeta TAP de Santa Clarita de $1.00 por viaje. Una tarjeta TAP de $365 puede generar 1 año de viajes en transporte público gratuitos cuando se usa una vez al día en un viaje local de Santa Clarita Transit. La tarjeta TAP otorgada es una tarjeta TAP estándar y se puede usar varias veces al día en cualquier servicio que acepte tarjetas TAP. El uso de la tarjeta TAP en un servicio de transporte público que cueste más de $1.00 por viaje o en un servicio de transporte público fuera del sistema de tránsito de Santa Clarita dará como resultado menos de 365 viajes.
  • Al participar en el sorteo, aceptas estar sujeto a estos términos y condiciones. Todas las inscripciones deben recibirse antes de las 8:30 p. m. del 15 de diciembre de 2024.   • Cada participante deberá ingresar al sorteo recolectando un (1) boleto de rifa en el puesto de información de la ciudad de Santa Clarita en Light Up Main Street el 16 de noviembre de 2024 o durante el Holiday Light Tour que se llevará a cabo del 13 al 15 de diciembre de 2024.
  • El premio se entregará a un ganador seleccionado al azar, extrayendo un boleto de rifa al azar de un contenedor que contiene todas las participaciones. El Promotor no será responsable si el premio designado no está disponible o no se puede entregar.
  • El Promotor no será responsable de la falta de recepción de las inscripciones. El Promotor no se hace responsable de las inscripciones perdidas, retrasadas, ilegibles, corruptas, dañadas, incompletas o inválidas.
  • En la medida en que lo permita la ley aplicable, la responsabilidad del Promotor en virtud o en relación con el sorteo o estos términos y condiciones se limitará al precio de costo del Premio en cuestión.
  • En la medida en que lo permita la ley aplicable, el Promotor no será responsable en virtud de o en conexión con estos términos y condiciones, el sorteo o cualquier Premio por cualquier costo, gasto, pérdida o daño indirecto, especial o consecuente sufrido por un participante, incluso si dicho costo, gasto, pérdida o daño era razonablemente previsible o podría haber sido razonablemente contemplado por el participante y el promotor y ya sea que surja de incumplimiento de contrato, agravio, negligencia, incumplimiento del deber legal o de otro modo.
  • Los premios no son negociables, transferibles ni reembolsables. No se aceptan como alternativa dinero en efectivo. Si un premio no está disponible por cualquier motivo, el promotor se reserva el derecho de sustituirlo por otro de igual o mayor valor.
  • El nombre, la dirección de correo electrónico y el número de teléfono del ganador deben proporcionarse en el boleto de rifa ingresado al Promotor y se compartirán para permitir la entrega del Premio.
  • En caso de circunstancias imprevistas fuera del control razonable del Promotor, éste se reserva el derecho de cancelar, terminar, modificar o suspender el concurso o estos términos y condiciones, ya sea en su totalidad o en parte, con o sin previo aviso.
  • La decisión del Promotor es inapelable. No se mantendrá correspondencia al respecto.
  • El nombre del ganador podrá publicarse en los perfiles de redes sociales del Promotor después de que se haya seleccionado al ganador.
