RIDER ALERT – SCHOOL ROUTE DETOUR
GOLDEN VALLEY AND BOWMAN SERVICE – May 13, 2026
Due to the continued closure of the intersection at Centre Point and Golden Valley, the school routes serving Golden Valley and Bowman High Schools will be required to pick up students at new locations, detailed below.
Golden Valley Routes 628 and 629:
Both routes will pick up at northbound Sierra Hwy and Golden Valley Rd (stop #13001)
Route 628: The bus will then detour to northbound Rainbow Glen Dr and then continue along normal routing. All stops missed on Rainbow Glen Drive from the detour will be served after the bus completes its normal route. The following stops will not be served:
- Westbound Golden Valley Rd & Robert C. Lee Pky (stop #15422)
- Eastbound Golden Valley Rd & Robert C. Lee Pky (stop #10747)
- Centre Point Pky & Golden Valley Rd (stop #11172)
- Ruether Ave & Centre Point Pky (stop # 11460)
Route 629: Will continue along normal routing. No stops will be missed.
Bowman Routes via Route 5/6:
Routes serving Bowman High School will serve the stop at Soledad Canyon Rd & Golden Oak Rd (stop #16633) for eastbound trips, and Soledad Canyon Rd & Golden Oak Rd (stop #19213) for westbound trips.
The following stops will not be served:
- Bowman High School (stop #14244)
- Centre Point Pky & Golden Valley Rd (stop #11172)
- Ruether Ave & Centre Point Pky (stop # 11460)
