Due to construction for the Magic Mountain Beautification Project, there will be a bus stop closure on Magic Mountain Pkwy and Wayne Mills Pl (#16738) beginning July 3, 2026 to August 3, 2026. During the closure, riders are being advised to use Magic Mountain Pkwy and Avignon Dr (#16959).

INDEPENDENCE DAY BUS SCHEDULE AND LOCAL ROUTE DETOURS

JULY 4TH SCHEDULE INFORMATION:
– In honor of Independence Day, all local transit routes, as well as Route 757, will operate on a SUNDAY schedule on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
DETOUR INFORMATION:
Local Routes:
Due to the road closures in the Newhall area for the 4th of July Parade and marathon, Route 4/14 and 5/6 will operate on a detour from 5:30 a.m. to noon, at which point normal routing will resume. There will be many bus stops that will not be served due to the detour. Please see the map below for routing. Only bus stops along the marked streets below will be served by Routes 4/14 and 5/6. Route 12 is not impacted and will follow normal service.
Summer Trolley:
The Summer Trolley will detour during the morning trips and stay on Railroad Ave. Bus Stops 9th and Main and Walnut and 8th will not be served. Riders are advised to board at the remaining active bus stop, Railroad and 6th, for pickup/drop off in the Newhall area.

Rutas locales
Debido al cierre de calles en el área de Newhall por el desfile y el maratón del 4 de julio, las Rutas 4/14 y 5/6 operarán con un desvío de 5:30 a.m. a 12:00 p.m. Después del mediodía, reanudarán su recorrido habitual.
Durante el desvío, varias paradas estarán temporalmente fuera de servicio. Consulte el mapa a continuación para ver el recorrido. Las Rutas 4/14 y 5/6 únicamente harán paradas en las calles marcadas en el mapa.
La Ruta 12 no se verá afectada y operará con su servicio habitual.
Summer Trolley
El Summer Trolley utilizará un desvío durante los viajes de la mañana y permanecerá sobre Railroad Ave.
Las paradas 9th and Main y Walnut and 8th estarán temporalmente fuera de servicio.

Due to the Official FIFA Fan Zone event at Union Station, several streets in the surrounding area will be closed, impacting Route 799 afternoon trips.

Riders are advised to board at the nearest available stop, located at North Main Street & East Temple Street (#12994).

Attention Route 501 Riders: Due to the Magic Mountain Beautification Project, there will be a bus stop closure at Magic Mountain Pkwy & Wayne Mills Pl (#16738) starting on April 13, 2026 until December 31, 2026. Riders can board at the temporarily relocated bus stop about 300ft westward, just before Starbucks on the far side of Tourney Rd. Please look for the blue City bus stop sign.
