Fares & Passes

City of Santa Clarita Transit offers a superior transit service at a very reasonable price, with discounted fares available for seniors, and the disabled.. Please have exact fare ready as our fareboxes do not make change and our drivers do not carry cash.  Valid I.D. is required for all reduced fares.  Fares are subject to change.

REFUND POLICY: Santa Clarita Transit assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged passes. No refunds will be given. Santa Clarita Transit assumes no responsibility for delays, service annulments, etc. caused by weather, road/highway conditions, accidents, acts of God etc.

TAP cards now available online or by mail. To purchase or reload your TAP card, please visit one of our convenient TAP locations during businesses hours. For more information please call (661) 295-6300.  Please note, a one-time non-refundable fee of $2 will be charged upon new TAP card issuance. Additionally, Santa Clarita Transit does not offer a reduced fare for students.

Dial-A-Ride (DAR) provides curb-to-curb local service to all areas in the City of Santa Clarita and within 3/4 of a mile from any Santa Clarita Transit local bus stop in unincorporated areas.

Applicant eligibility varies by municipality (e.g. senior discount participation begins at 60, 62, or 65 years depending on the transit system), so be sure to check the specific reduced-fare eligibility requirements for the lines you ride.

Rider Relief

Fare subsidy coupons available to low-income riders who qualify. Coupons allow riders who qualify to receive $10 off of a Santa Clarita local monthly pass. Purchase Passes

EZ Transit Pass and TAP

EZ transit pass is moving to TAP on August 25th. 

Paper EZ transit passes will no longer be available.  You must now have a TAP card in order to purchase your EZ transit pass from one of our 4 locations in Santa Clarita. If you are a Senior/Disabled rider, please be sure to apply now for a Senior/Disabled TAP card so you can continue to buy your EZ transit pass at a reduced rate.

Purchase and electronically load Santa Clarita Transit passes and EZ Transit Passes at various Pass Sale Outlets around the Santa Clarita Valley. Hours of operation vary for each location. Please call and confirm before visiting.
