BOUQUET JUNCTION LONG TERM DETOUR

Bouquet Junction Detour

February 13, 2026, through January 2027

As a result of the closure of Bouquet Canyon Rd, from Benz Rd to David Way, some transit routes will be impacted with minor delays and/or new travel patterns. See below for more details on which routes are impacted.

Route 4

  • Inbound and outbound trips will follow a detour pattern of using Benz Rd to/from Copper Hill Dr to/from David Way.
  • Southwest stops at Alaminos/Row, and Hobb/Pin have been temporarily suspended.
  • To maintain service levels during the detour, a temporary westbound stop has been added at Copper Hill Drive and Kathleen Avenue, just before the intersection. This stop restores southwest Route 4 service in the area due to the suspension of the Alaminos/Row and Hobb/Pin bus stops. The temporary stop will remain in place until the detour ends.
  • Riders should use this new temporary stop and not the nearby stop on southbound Kathleen Avenue just before Copper Hill Drive. The southbound Kathleen stop is served by school routes only.

School Routes

Arroyo Seco and Saugus supplemental school routes will also be impacted with minor delays and new travel patterns. See below for details on which routes are impacted. If a route is not mentioned, there is no impact.

  • 620 PM and 633 PM – A small detour will occur, using Benz Rd to Alaminos Dr, to Kathleen Ave, to Copper Hill Dr, to David Way, to Bouquet Canyon Rd, and back on the routing. See the map below for details:

  • 621 AM – A segment of the route has been removed. No stops have been eliminated. See the map below for details:

  • 621 PM & 637 PM – The travel pattern is unaffected; however, there may be slight delays as it will travel through the gate on Benz Rd.
